SASANIAN KINGS, Ardaxsir (Ardashir) II. (AD 379-383). Gold Dinar (7.03 gm; 22 mm). Mint I (“Kabul”). Bust right, wearing plain crown with korymbos / Fire altar with ribbons; illegible inscriptions. SNS type Ib/2 (pl. 23, A4-5); Göbl type I/3 (pl. 7, 124); Paruck -; Saeedi AV59; Sunrise 871. Small die break on obverse, otherwise Well struck on a nice broad flan. Choice EF. Extremely rare.
