SASANIAN KINGS, Yazdgird II. 438-457 AD. Æ (1.75 gm; 19 mm). Obverse, Yazdgird bust turning right, a crescent followed by letters "ShYZ" (mint of Shiz)in front of face, reverse, fire altar with attendants. Well struck on a broad flan. Choice EF. Nice original reddish patina. Extremely rare.
