SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria. Philip I. AD 244-249. BI Tetradrachm (14.33 gm; 29 mm). Antioch, struck AD 247. Radiate and cuirassed bust left; cuirass with gorgon’s head / Eagle standing right, with wings displayed, holding wreath in beak. McAlee 925; Prieur 355. Sharply struck on a nice broad flan. Reddish patina. Choice Good EF.
