ARAB-SASANIAN, Hajjaj ibn Yusuf. AH 75-95 (694-713 AD.) Æ (0.87 gm; 18 mm). Bishapur series, obverse; Sasanian bust facing forward, name "hc(a)cywsp(a)n - Hajjaj -e Yusufan on the right side, GDH and xvarrah/abzud on the left, letters APD on the margin at second quarter, reverse a moving forward horse with 2 line phrase, "pylwc" followed by "apad". Gyselen Type 62. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Well centered. Choice EF. Nice original find patina. Rare.
