Description
PRE-REFORM Arab Sasanian, Arab Byzantine. Æ Pashiz (1.75 gm; 24 mm). Imitating Byzantine Emperors. Crowned facing busts of Heraclius and Heraclius Constantine, each wearing chlamys; cross above / Patriarchal cross potent set on three steps. Cf. Gyselen Type 85; Malek, Arab-Sasanian 1544-1603 (for similar types). Possible mount removed. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Choice VF. Nice original find patina. Rare.
