SASANIAN KINGS, Shapur II. 309-379. Gold Dinar (7.22 gm; 20 mm). Crowned bust right, crown with kroymbos and melons. Reverse: Fire altar with fillets, flanked by torches. SNS type Ib1/2a (pl. 19, 280); MK -; Göbl type Ia/7; Paruck 247; Saeedi AV51-4; Sunrise 863. Minor die rust on obverse field, small die break on reverse field. Fine style. Sharply struck on a nice full flan. Choice EF. Nice example for the issue. Rare.
