Description
ARAB-BYZANTINE, Æ (1.95 gm; 25 mm). Imitating the two figure Byzantine type on the obverse, text not legible, reverse, cross on steps, legend all around. Original suspension loop. There is an interesting detail differing from all other similar examples and that is the second horizontal bar on the cross which is not the result of double strike making this issue extremely rare and most likely unpublished. Nice original find patina. Choice EF. Extremely rare.
