Description
ARAB-SASANIAN, Apzut Series. Istaxr mint. Æ (0.92 gm; 21 mm). Obverse, Sasanian style bust turning right, phrase Apzut on the left, crescent moon followed by abbreviation "ST" (Istaxr) followed by GDH symbol, reverse, Khosrau II style facing forward bust, phrase, "Bismillah" on the left and phrase "Billah" on the right, not in Gyselen, most likely unpublished. Choice EF. Reddish patina. Extremely rare.
