ARAB-SASANIAN, Abdullah ibn Zubayr (Rival Khalif). Year 53 or 56. AR Dirhem (4.15 gm; 31 mm). Obverse, Sasanian bust of Khosrau II turning right name “apdwla-i zubiran amīr-i -wurrishnikān” (ʻAbdullah bin Zubayr, Commander of the Believers) in front of face, phrase "Bismillah" on the 2nd quarter, triple dots at 6 o'clock, reverse, mint "DA" (Darabgird) on the right, year 53 or 56 on the left. Sharply struck on a nice flan. Choice AU. Lightly toned.
