ARAB-SASANIAN, Abdullah ibn Zubayr, Rival Khalif, year 64. AR Dirhem (4.16 gm; 30 mm). Obverse, Sasanian bust of Khosrau II turning right name “apdwla-i zubiran amīr-i -wurrishnikān” (ʻAbdullah bin Zubayr, Commander of the Believers) in front of face, phrase "Bismillah" on the 2nd quarter, triple dots at 6 o'clock, reverse, mint "DA" (Darabgird) on the right, year 64, dot to the right of 12 o'clock. Superb and full strike. Extremely rare this nice. Lightly toned.
