PERSIA, SAFFARID, Ya'qub. (247-265 AH / 861-879 AD). AR Dirhem (3.11 gm; 26 mm). Obverse, Shahadah followed by the name "Ya'qub" reverse, Shahadah for Prophet Mohammad followed by name of the Abbasid khalif "al-Muqtadar ala-Allah" year 265, mint Sushtar(?). Sharply struck on a nice full flan. Choice AU. Toned. Rare. Great example for the issue.
