Islamic coins, Rebels in East Khurasan, obv. Abu-Ibrahim, rev. Abu-Ja'far, AR Dirham, Andaraba 280h, pierced, (3.52gm, 22mm), Very Fine, Very Rare. Album notes that there was a hiatus in the coinage from this silver mining region in today's Afghanistan. This crude coinage provides us with a glimpse of an otherwise very obscure period in its history.
