Arab Sasanian: Governor 'Ubayd Allah ibn Ziyad, AH 54-63 (AD 673-683), Silver AR Dirham (Drachm), AH56 Dated, Mint: Basrah. Obverse: Bust to right, the full name of the governor in Pahlavi legend. "bism allah". Reverse: The usual Sasanian reverse with a fire alter in the centre with two attendants on both sides. (3.60gm, 32mm), Good Very Fine.
