Draped bust of Tigranes II to right, wearing a five-pointed Armenian tiara adorned with a star between two eagles; border of pearls and rolls // BAΣIΛEΩΣ TIΓPANOY Tyche of Antioch seated right on a rock, holding a palm, the river god Orontes swimming below to right; monogram to lower left below the goddess; all within a laurel wreath. Kovacs 74.2; M&D 1; CAA 19; AC 30. Lovely style. Well struck on nice full flan. Choice EF. Nice old cabinet toning.
