SELEUKID KINGS, Seleukos I Nikator. 312-280 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.91 gm; 29 mm). Struck in the name and types of Alexander III of Macedon. Babylon mint, circa 311-300 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin headdress/ Zeus Aetophoros seated left, holding scepter; monogram in wreath in left field, MI below throne. SC 82.5b; Price 3747; HGC 9, 10f. From Michael Higley collection. Sharply struck on a nice broad medallic flan. Nice style. Choice Superb EF. Toned.
