HUNICS Imitation of KUSHANO-SASANIAN KINGS; Peroz III, 350-360 AD. Gold Dinar (7.79 gm; 35 mm). Baktrian mint (Balkh?), King standing facing, head to left, wearing Ram-head crown with lotus blossom, flames at shoulders, sacrificing over altar and holding trident; trident to left, pellet to right of altar, three pellets below left arm, tamgha to right / Exalted god standing facing, holding diadem with ribbons and trident; behind, the bull Nandi standing to left. ANS Kushan 2416; Gobl -; Donum Burns -; MAC -; Cribb -; Alram -; Roma e93, 656-7. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Small natural flan crack. Choice EF. Extremely rare. Ex. Warden Collection.
