KINGS of PARTHIA, Orodes II. Ca. 57-38 BC. Silver Tetradrachm (15.14 gm; 31 mm). Seleukeia on Tigris. Diademed and draped bust of Orodes left, wearing neck torque ending in sear horse and elaborate robe embroidered with pearls and griffin / Orodes seated left, holding Nike, who crowns him with wreath, and scepter. Sellwood 48.1; Shore 212; Sunrise 377. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Graffiti on obverse field. Choice Good VF. Lightly toned.
