KINGS of ELYMAIS, Kamnaskires-Orodes III. Mid-Late 2nd Century AD. Æ Tetradrachm (13.88 gm; 27 mm). 'King Kamnaskires Orodes, son of the King Orodes' in Parthian script, Crowned bust facing, with “flaming” hair; to right, star in crescent above pellet and anchor symbol / Field of dashes. Alram 480; De Morgan/De la Fuye 72; Le Rider, Suse pl. LXXIII, 7. Well struck on a nice full flan. Nice full clear legend. Original brown-reddish and green patina. Choice EF. Scarce.
