SASANIAN KINGS, Shapur II. 309-379 AD. Gold Dinar (6.98 gm; 18 mm). Mint VI (Merv). Struck circa AD 320. Bust right, wearing mural crown with korymbos; pellet to right / Fire altar with ribbons. SNS type Ib1/2a; MK -; Göbl type Ia/7; Paruck 245; Saeedi AV47; Sunrise 838. Sharply struck on a nice flan. Choice good EF. Very rare.
