SASANIAN KINGS, Queen Buran. 630-631 AD. Æ unit (2.46 gm; 25 mm). Obverse, queen's bust turning right wearing helmeted crown with wings of victory, her name in Pahlavi in front of name, reverse, fire altar with attendants, year 1 to the left and mint "ST" (Istaxr) to the right. Original brown reddish. Choice VF. Of highest rarity among the Sasanian series.
