Romanian Kings Michael the Brave, King Ferdinand and King Michael, facing left at centre legend around '1601 - 1918 - 1944 • ARDEALUL NOSTRU •'. / Crowned eagle at centre, ROMANIA below. Various coats of arms of Transylvanian counties usurped by Hungary with the support of Germany and Italy in 1940. Inscribed edge: NIHIL SINE DEO. Minor black stain on reverse at 3-4 o'clock, otherwise Choice UNC. Scarce.
