Description
ARAB-SASANIAN, Sakastan series. Year 100. AR drachm (3.77 gm; 31 mm). Obverse; crude Sasanian style bust turning right, name Husraw in pahlavi, followed in second line by "Sulayman"(?), Bismillah on the second quarter, Rabi on the thrid quarter, reverse, mint: SK on the right, date 100(?). Extremely rare with two line name in the series as typically the names are written in the outer ring of the obverse. Choice VF with original find patina.
