EGYPT, Alexandria. Philip I. AD. 244-249. BI Tetradrachm (13.62 gm; 24 mm). Dated RY 6 = AD 248/9. Laureate and cuirassed bust to right / Eagle standing to left, head to right, holding wreath in beak; L-Ϛ (date) across fields. RPC VIII 2642 (unassigned); Dattari (Savio) 4939; Emmett 3481. Lovely strike on a nice broad flan. Brown-reddish patina. Choice Superb. "As struck". Lovely example for the issue.
