KINGS of PARTHIA. Phraates IV. (38/7-2 BC). AR tetradrachm (14.04 gm; 30 mm). Seleukeia on the Tigris mint. Dated Apellaios 287 SE (26 BC). Diademed bust left, wart on forehead / Phraates seated right, receiving wreath from Tyche standing left, holding cornucopia; (year) and (month) in exergue. Sellwood 50.8; Shore -; Callataÿ 202-204; Sunrise 390. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Minor graffiti on the field. Choice Good VF. Lightly toned.
