BYZANTINE EMPIRE. Justinian. 527-565 AD. Gold Solidus (4.44 gm; 21 mm). Constantinople mint, Officina E. Struck ca. 545-565 AD. Helmeted and cuirassed facing bust, holding globus cruciger. Reverse: Angel stands facing, holding Chi-Rho staff and globus crucuger. SB 140. Well struck on a nice full flan. Choice AU with some luster.
