ACHAEMENID EMPIRE. IONIA, Satrapal Coinage. Circa 350-333 BC. AR Tetradrachm (15.12 gm; 24 mm). NGC-Choice VF. Uncertain Mint in Ionia. Persian king or hero in kneeling-running stance right, holding spear and bow / Shallow incuse punch with uncertain design (possibly a map of the Ionian hinterlands). Traité II 77-8 (Memnon of Rhodes); BMC p. 324, 3; Sunrise 70. NGC-Choice VF (Strike 5/5; Surface 4/5). Certificate # 3905223-005. Extremely rare.
