LUCANIA, Metapontion. Ca 300-250 BC. Æ (4.57 gm; 16 mm). Obv: Helmeted head of Leukippos right. Rev: META. Demeter standing facing, head right, holding long torch. SNG ANS 561; HN Italy 1702. Ex. Nomos 20, # 38. Lovely strike on a nice full flan. Nice brown patina. Choice FDC. Very rare, specially in this condition.
