Description
SASANIAN KINGS. Ardashir I to Shapur I. Ca. 224-272 AD. Æ (3.09 gm; 17 mm). Ardashir I to Shapur I conquest in the East, obverse, sasanian bust with bunched hair on the top turning left, reverse, Sasanian king on horseback. Nice original brown reddish patina. Choice VF. Extremely rare, with the bust turning left.
