SASANIAN KINGS. Khusro I. 531-579 AD. Gold Imitative Dinar (3.90 gm; 26 mm). SK (Sijistan) mint, regnal year 27. Bust of Khusro I right, wearing mural crown with frontal crescent and korymbos set on crescent, ribbons and crescents on shoulders; flanking head, stars; crescents in margin. rev. Fire altar with ribbons turned upwards, flanked by two attendants; above flanking flames, star and crescent. Cf. Göbl-196; Sunrise -. Slightly wavy flan. Ex. mount at top 12. Well struck. Choice VF. Extremely rare.
