ROMAN EMPIRE; City Commemorative. AD 332-333. BI Nummus (2.27 gm; 17 mm). Contemporary imitation of type struck under Constantine I at Treveri mint, AD 332-333. CONSTANTINOPOLIS, laureate, helmeted and mantled bust of Constantinopolis to left, holding spear / Victory standing to left, foot on prow, holding sceptre and resting hand on shield; TRP(star) in exergue.
