ROMAN EMPIRE. Arcadius (AD 383–408). AV Solidus (4.40 gm; 20 mm). Constantinople, ca. AD 397–402. D N ARCADI—VS P F AVG, helmeted, cuirassed bust of Arcadius three-quarters right, holding transverse spear behind head, shield on shoulder / CONCORDI—A AVGGB, Constantinopolis enthroned facing, holding scepter and Victory on globe, foot resting on prow, CONOB in exergue. DO 212–213; RIC 7; Depeyrot 55/1. Lovely strike on a nice full flan. Choice FDC. Fully lustrous. Lovely example for the issue.
