Description
PERSIA, Early Safavid. Ca. 1700s. Green Jade Islamic Stamp negetive seal (29mm) in finest naskh calligraghy. Phrase; "Al Faqir al Ubaid Ruhallah Tavakkol ala Allah" meaning "Ruhallah A man of no wordly possesion and obidient to God, always relies on Allah". Traces of gold gilt still present around the legends. Wonderful style of calligraphy. Excellent condition. Very rare.
