Silver Hemidrachm, Tabaristan Mint, 24mm, 1.38 grams
Obverse: Crowned Sassanian style bust right, pzwt in Pahlavi to right, in outer margin pd to lower right, nwk to lower left, star within crescent left, right and below.
Reverse: Fire altar flanked by two attendants, star to either side on flames above, date on left and mint on right, three pellets and star within crescent alternating in outer margin.
