Cilicia, Tarsos, Mazaios, as Satrap, 361 - 334 BC
Silver Stater, 26mm, 10.82 grams
Obverse: Baaltars seated left holding eagle, bunch of grapes on vine and scepter, facing head of lion below grapes, BLTRZ in Aramaic on right.
Reverse: Lion attacking bull to left, MZDI in Aramaic above, test cut.
Extremely rare with facing lion head on obverse, only two in the sales record and previously unpublished but as Asia Minor Coins (online) 6080.
