Obverse: Wreathed male head right with mark of value below chin.
Reverse: The Dioscuri standing facing, each holding a spear and the bridle of their horse, L MEMMI in exergue

This family claimed descent from the Trojan Menestheus who came to Italy with Aeneas. This type refers to the Athenian King Menestheus who drove Theseus from Athens with the help of the Dioscuri.
