Description
SASANIAN KINGS. Bahram (Varhran) II, (276-293 AD. Æ (1.72 gm; 15 mm). Obverse, Bahram's bust with winged crown turning right, reverse, fire altar with attendants given the image on the obverse, it seems that obverse used Ardashir I die to create Bahram's crown. On the reverse, it seems that die for Shapur I reverse was utilized. Extremely interesting specieman among the series. Choice Good VF. Nice original find patina. Extremely rare.
