Sasanian style bust imitating Khosrau II right; Arabic marginal legend / Fire altar flanked by attendants; date and mint, fleurs-de-lis in margins. SIC Ashmolean 410; cf. Album 56. Phrase "APZUT" to the right of the face. "GDH" behind the crown, Phrase "APD" at 4:00 o'clock / Mint to the right: "TPURSTAN"(Tabaristan); year: 140. Choice FDC. Fully lustrous. Lightly toned.
