UMAYYADS, temp. Hisham (b. ‘Abd al-Malik), 105-125(724-743 AD). Lead Unit (2.70 gm; 15 mm). Obverse, kufic/Arabic phrase, Bismillah, Zarb-e Jorjan (minted in Jorjan same as Gorgan), year 110 (AH). reverse, phrase, bi(l) amr-e al-Amir, bil Walid ibn Abdullah, (by the order of ruler Walid ibn Abdullah). Extremely rare this legible. Choice EF. Original find patina.
