MACEDON UNDER ROMAN RULE, 158-150 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.08 gm; 32 mm). Amphipolis mint. Diademed bust of Artemis right, quiver over shoulder, in the center of an ornate Macedonian shield / ΜΑΚΕΔΟΝΩΝ ΠΡΩΤΗΣ, Club; monogram above, all within oak wreath. AMNG III 176; cf. SNG Copenhagen 1310-1; SNG Ashmolean 3297. Well struck on a nice full broad flan. Choice EF. Lightly toned. Nice example for the issue.
