SASANIAN KINGS. Kavad I, first crown, 488-497 AD. AR Obol (0.51 gm; 12 mm). Sunrise 957. Standard drachm style issue, reverse, fire altar with attendants in prayer mode mint abbreviation of "AI(?)"-Airan-Susa or "ST" - Istaxr on the right and degenrated letters for kings name on the laft. Sharply struck on a nice broad flan. Choice Superb. Lightly toned. Extremely rare. Wonderful example for the issue.
