KIDARITES / HUNNIC TRIBES, Budhamitra, Ca. 385-390 AD. AR Drachm (2.80 gm; 27 mm). Most likely Kabul mint. Obverse: Sasanian style Bust of king facing slightly right, wearing crown with flowing ribbons, KIDARA KU-SANASA in Brahmi above the crown on both sides, Reverse: Fire altar with attendants, SULAKHA in Brahmi below the base of altar. Göbl, Hunnen Em. 18. Minor chipping around the edge, otherwise well struck. Choice EF. Nice old cabinet toning. Extremely rare.
