ROMAN EMPIRE, Philip I, 244-249 AD. AR Antoninianus (3.59 gm; 21 mm). Rome, 247-249. Obv. IMP PHILIPPVS AVG, Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust to right, seen from behind. Rev. FIDES EXERCITVS, four standards, one of which is a legionary eagle. RIC 62. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Choice EF. Nice old cabinet toning.
