PERSIA, Safavid Dynasty, Shah Sultan Hoseyn (1694-1722 AD/1105-1135 AH), AR Abbasi (7.45 gm; 24 mm). obverse, King's Name in revernce of Shia Imam, followed by mint Tabriz, year 1127 AH, reverse Shahadah for Prophet Mohamad and Shia Imam Ali at the center and name of the 12 Shia Imams on the outer ring. Superb style and strike, finest Nasta'liq caligraphy. Extremely rare with both sides of the coin having same style of nasta'liq calighraphy. Choice Good VF. Toned.
