SASANIAN KINGS, Zamasp, 496-498/9 AD. AR Drachm (4.08 gm; 28 mm). Obverse, Zamasp bust turning right, with Ahuramazda handing him "Khawarrah" for reign, reverse, fire altar with attendants in prayer mode, mint AI (Airan-Susa), on the right and date 2 on the left. Nice strike. Choice EF. Lightly toned.
