Description
TOKHARISTAN, Yabghus of Baktria. 6th/7th century. AR Drachm (4.06 gm; 31 mm). Sasanian style bust right, wearing winged crown topped by a bull's head, Psuedo Pahlavi legends in front of face, reverse standard fire-altar & attendants psuedo Pahlavi legends in place of mint and date. SG-265. Small hairline crack, hardly visible. Lovely strike on a nice broad flan. Choice Superb EF. Lightly toned with some luster. Extremely Rare.
