Description
ARAB-BYZANTINE immitation in Umayyad Iran. Æ (1.78 gm; 21 mm). Gyselen type Annex-b1, Byzantine figure, facing forward, cross to the left of face, legend illegible, reverse, Uncial "M"cross on the top legend and year or mint not illegible. Gyselen attributes the coin to Susa mint. Original brown and erathen patina. Choice aEF. Rare in any condition.
