NEZAK HUNS. Vasu Deva. Circa AD 720. AR Drachm (2.90 gm; 32 mm). Zabulistan/Sistan mint. Bust right, wearing crown with two wings surmounted by lion’s head / Fire altar with ribbon; two attendants flanking; star and crescent flanking flames; Göbl, Dokumente, Em. 244 (Sahi Tigin); Sunrise 1037. Small gold insert on the neck at 6. This was customery practice of piercing and inserting gold in the ancient times (for unknown reasons). Choice EF. Toned.
