SASANIAN KINGS. Kavad I. (AD. 488-497) AR drachm (4.03 gm; 28 mm). First crown, standard issue, reverse, fire altar with attendants in praying mode, king's name "KWAT" to the left and mint: "GD" Jay (Isfahan) on the right. Sunrise 959. Lovely strike. Choice EF.
