TABERISTAN. JARIR (ibn Yazid), Type II, 786-788 AD. AR Hemidrachm (2.00 gm; 25 mm). Obverse, Sasanian style bust turning left, name "Jarir: in Kufic Arabic in front of face, APD on the second quarter, NYWK on the third quarter, reverse, fire altar with attendants, mint to the right year 136. Lovely strike. Choice FDC. Fully lustrous.
