INDIA, KUSHAN: Kanishka I c. 127-150 CE, AE Didrachm. Obverse: King standing facing, sacrificing at altar at left, holding sceptre in left hand, Bactrian legend around: þAO KANIþKI?! (Shao Kanishki). Reverse: Four-armed Oesho standing left, nimbate, holding drum and diadem in right hands, trident and water pot in left hands, Bactrian legend at right: OηþO?!, tamgha at left. 2.85gm, 16mm, Rare.
